File Clerk’s Responsibilities


  • Courier paperwork between locations three times per day (walking distance).
  • Filing (includes AR/AP, deals and anything else as needed).
  • Creation of New Account file folders.
  • Assisting co-workers in locating A/R invoices/files.
  • Scanning and e-mailing invoices as requested
  • Future (scanning of all documents into electronic data filing system)


  • A/R-A/P record purging for storage.
  • A/R filing organization and assistance with retrieval
  • Coordination of yearly document destruction (or as required) directed by supervisor.


  • Organization of filing system and document storage area to facilitate easy retrieval
  • Cross train on other responsibilities to achieve knowledge of processes and be able to help as backup on other desks.
  • Maintain high level of accuracy and timeliness in all job responsibilities
  • Maintain utmost level of customer service at all times.
  • Help maintain a work environment that keeps you focused on your responsibilities and not disruptive.
  • Maintain positive, respectful relationship with all co-workers & superiors.
  • Other administrative/accounting functions as required or assigned.

Report to work on time every day as scheduled
